RAPTURETTE
Rapture clues that point to Nov 8, 2006
John Tng

Dear Doves,
This series was borne out of the conviction that the rapture might happen on Nov 8, 2006. The date has since past with no rapture but not without significance as noted by a number of doves & Marilyn Agee (see links 1, 2, 3, 4, 5). There is a good possibility that the rapture may still happen this year 40 days after Nov 8, 2006, on the second day of Hanukkah, Dec 17, 2006 (link 5) or even before the year is over. Let us hope for the best. To this end, I have started another series, RAPTURETTE 2.0, to explore the many clues that point to 2006.

Dear Doves,

I was supposed to compose an article on the Superstring and the rapture in Part 3 of the Rapture 2006 series. The article was a long time coming because I was inundated with a flood of new information thanks to Ian Mallett. Ian has a knack for sniffing out God's wonderful numbers in His creation and His Word. In view of the lateness of the hour, I have decided to write little chunks of rapture code in a brand new series called RAPTURETTE, a not so subtle attempt at copying Ian's NUMBERBITE. :)

Before we begin, a caveat is in order. I am not stating beyond the shadow of a doubt that the rapture will happen on the said date. If I am proven wrong again this time, I will still return to the drawing board and relook at the data because one day a perfect fit will present itself to those who seek. If the rapture happens on the speculated date, it is hoped that many will pay attention and not fall into the coming great deception.

For background information, read Part 1 & Part 2.

RAPTURETTE #0003 2006-10-20

2006 Transit of Mercury (Part 1)

"On Wednesday, 2006 Nov 08, Mercury will transit the Sun for the first time since 2003. The transit or passage of a planet across the face of the Sun is a relatively rare occurrence. As seen from Earth, only transits of Mercury and Venus are possible. There are approximately 13 transits of Mercury each century. In comparison, transits of Venus occur in pairs with more than a century separating each pair."

The above paragraph is taken from the NASA web site on the transit of Mercury in 2006. Is it possible that God actually conceals the rapture date in this relatively rare sign of the heavens? Why NOT! For one thing, no one is able to manufacture the astronomical transit data below, except perhaps God Himself!

The first SHOCKING revelation is this: the Hebrew date of the rapture, Heshvan 17 (2-17), 5767, is encoded in the hour & minute totals of the above table!

Hour total    = 59 = 19 + 19 + 21 + 00 + 00
Minute total = 84 = 12 + 13 + 41 + 08 + 10

Concatenate the hour & minute totals:

5984 = 217 + 5767 !!!!!!!

Even the 'second' total points to the Hebrew date of the rapture in a 'lesser' manner if you will. Instead of adding the time values as in the case of the hour & minute totals, this time add the digit value of the 'second' figures.

35 = 4+5+7+4+1+6+8
35 = 2+1+7 (217) + 5+7+6+7 (5767) !!!!!!!!

The whole phenomenon comes with an error-checking code since the very date of its occurrence is built into the transit times TWICE!

Greatest transit is the instant when Mercury passes closest to the Sun's center (i.e. minimum separation). This will occur at 21:41 Universal Time; the number formed by this time figure, 2141, is intriguing to say the least.

2141 = (17 x 118) + (17 + 118)
            ^^^^^^^^^^^
             year 2006 = 17 x 118

Ian Mallett wrote me the following yesterday after I shared with him the above:

This is quite a remarkable coincidence! Astronomer royal Edmond Halley, who made the first complete observation of a transit of Mercury, was born on November 8th, the same day as this year's transit! This occurred in 1677 (on the eve of his birthday) and the number of transits of Mercury from then to 2006 inclusive is 46, the Hebrew gematria of ELIJAH! The 2006 transit is only the 2nd transit which falls on November 8th since 1677, the last one being in 1881.

I did a little search on the Internet and found that Edmond Halley was born on Nov 8, 1656! The year immediately jumped out at me as the solid link between the astronomer royal and Nov 8, 2006 (Heshvan 17, 5767) -- the aniversary of Noah's Flood.

Noah
1) The rain that caused Noah's Flood started on Heshvan 17, 1656.
2) Noah lived another 350 years after the Flood and died in year 2006 since Adam, possibly on Heshvan 17.

Modern-day Noah (Edmond Halley)
1) Halley was born on Nov 8, 1656. He made the first complete observation of a transit of Mercury.
2) 350 years to the day after the birth of Halley, Mercury will transit the Sun on Nov 8 (Heshvan 17), 2006.

The symmetry in the table below is something to behold.

Noah
Modern-day Noah
Former Rain came 2-17-1656
(The Flood that ended the world.)
Noah was born 11-8-1656
Noah died 2-17-2006
Latter Rain comes 11-8-2006
(The end of the world shall come like a Flood.)

Listen to the prophetic words of the modern-day Noah, in his famous admonition of 1716 (link):

EDMOND HALLEY'S FAMOUS ADMONITION of 1716
PHILOSOPHICAL TRANSACTIONS VOL. XXIX (1716) A new Method of determining the Parallax of the Sun, or his Distance from the Earth; by Dr. Halley, Sec. R. S. N0 348, p.454. Translated from the Latin.

<excerpt>
While I was making my observations in the island of St. Helena, about 40 years since, on the stars round the south pole, I happened to observe, with the utmost care, Mercury passing over the sun's disk: and contrary to expectation, I very accurately obtained, with a good 24-foot telescope, the very moment in which Mercury, entering the sun's limb, seemed to touch it internally, as also that of his going off; forming an angle of internal contact. Hence I discovered the precise quantity of time the whole body of Mercury had then appeared within the sun's disk, and that without an error of one single second of time; for, the thread of solar light, intercepted between the obscure limb of the planet, and the bright limb of the sun, though exceedingly slender, affected my sight, and in the twinkling of an eye, both the indenture made on the sun's limb by Mercury entering into it, vanished, and that made by his going off, appeared. On observing this I immediately concluded, that the sun's parallax might be duly determined by such observations, if Mercury, being nearer the earth, had a greater parallax, when seen from the sun; for, this difference of parallaxes is so very inconsiderable, as to be always less than the sun's parallax, which is sought; consequently, though Mercury is to be frequently seen within the sun's disk; he will scarcely be fit for the present purpose.

This rapturette is so good there will be a Part 2 to it.
