RAPTURETTE 2.0
Rapture 2006 Series
John Tng

Dear Doves,
This series was borne out of the conviction that the rapture might happen on Nov 8, 2006. The date has since past with no rapture but not without significance as noted by a number of doves & Marilyn Agee (see links 1, 2, 3, 4, 5). There is a good possibility that the rapture may still happen this year 40 days after Nov 8, 2006, on the second day of Hanukkah, Dec 17, 2006 (link 5) or even before the year is over. Let us hope for the best. To this end, I have started another series, RAPTURETTE 2.0, to explore the many clues that point to 2006. To view the old RAPTURETTE series, click here.

As it was in the Days of Noah

Jesus said in Matt 24:37-42, "But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left [the Rapture]. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left [the Rapture]. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come."

The world was completely destroyed only once in history. This happened at the Flood of Noah. Right now we are almost on the brink of another complete worldwide annihilation, the end of the world as we know it. The 'days of Noah' aptly describes the conditions of the world we are currently in: people are eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building (Luke 17:28), marrying and giving in marriage (Matt 24:38), oblivious to the impending doom seconds away.

In the passage at the top, Jesus placed the days of Noah in the Rapture season -- "until the day that Noe entered into the ark, ...Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left [the Rapture]". The Flood came so suddenly it was too late for Noah's contemporaries to escape; in the same way, it will be too late for the five foolish virgins to go in to the wedding when the midnight cry is sounded. At the end of the passage, Jesus admonished us to WATCH and BE READY (vs 42), lest we be LEFT BEHIND; indeed, the same warning is maintained throughout the remaining nine verses of Matthew chapter 24: "he would have watched" (v43), "be ye also ready" (v44), and "in a day when he looketh not for him" (v50).

Immediately following Matthew chapter 24 is the parable of the ten virgins at the start of Matthew chapter 25 -- a seamless progression from the Rapture passage Jesus just prophesied, linking the days of Noah to the Rapture. The foolish virgins are left behind because they do not have extra oil, a clear evidence of their lack of preparation. The Rapture is a reward of our walk with God, a principle rooted in Scripture. It is revealing only two patriarchs are said to have 'walked with God' in Scripture: Enoch (Gen 5:22, 24) and Noah (Gen 6:9). Enoch is the first raptured saint and Noah is the first inheritor of a renewed Earth. Enoch points to the raptured virgins while Noah points to the Church, the inheritor of all things (Mat 24:47, Rom 8:32, Rev 21:7), joint-heir of the new Heaven and new Earth with Christ (Rom 8:17).

Noah, a preacher of righteousness (2 Pe 2:5), perished in the year 2006 (1656+350) since Adam. Will the righteous of our generation 'perish' in AD 2006 to escape the evil to come? "The righteous perisheth [the Rapture], and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away [the Rapture], none considering that the righteous is taken away [the Rapture] from the evil to come." (Isa 57:1) The Hebrew for perisheth, 'abad', is translated as 'lost' nine times in the KJV Bible; it can refer to a lost or missing person, an appropriate description of the raptured saints.

There are many compelling numeric factors going for a Hanukkah rapture on the 2nd day of Hanukkah, Dec 17, 2006:

1) Noah perished in the year 2006 since Adam. The Rapture season is as the days of Noah.

2) The Hebrew date of Dec 17, 2006 is Kislev 26, 5767. The number 26 is the standard Hebrew gematria of YHVH, the most awesome Name of God; it resembles 2006.

3) The day number 17 in the Gregorian date, Dec 17, 2006, is the reduced Hebrew gematria of YHVH.

4) The year 2006 is the product of 17 & 118. The number 118 is the key number in the date, 11-8-2006, the aniversary of Noah's flood.

5) Both the Hebrew gematriot of YHVH, 26 (standard) & 17 (reduced), are concealed in Noah & family: (i) 26 = 2 (Noah & wife) + 6 (3 sons & 3 daughters-in-law). (ii) 17 = 1 (Noah the patriach) + 7 (family members).

6) In linking the days of Noah to the Rapture season, Jesus also alluded to Lot, Abraham's nephew -- "likewise also as it was in the days of Lot" (Luke 17:28). A total of 11 persons (8+3) were delivered from Noah's flood and the judgment of fire and brimstone on Sodom & Gomorrah. The month and day of the Gregorian date, 11-8-2006, are surprisingly hidden in both judgments: 11-8 (Nov 8) is pointed to by the 11 persons delivered in the days of Noah & Lot and the 8 persons delivered in the days of Noah.

7) The month and day of the Hebrew date 3-26-5767 (Dec 17, 2006), are also hidden in Noah's & Lot's families. Kislev, the 3rd month on the Hebrew civil calendar, is pointed to by Lot and his two daughters who escaped the fire which fell on Sodom & Gomorrah. The day number 26 is represented by Noah & wife (2) and their 3 sons & 3 daughters-in-law (6), who survived the Flood.

8) Both the Gregorian year 2006 and the day number of the Hebrew date (3-26-5767), 26, are intimated by the 2nd day of Hanukkah which divides the 8 days of Hanukkah into 2+6 days.

9) One significant Jewish tradition has it that the legendary Western Lamp of the 7-branched menorah in the holy place, the lamp that never went out, is the sixth lamp from the west, assuming that the 7 lamps ran from east to west (see link). In that case, the number 26 is concealed in the Western Lamp -- the 2nd lamp from the east and the 6th lamp from the west. The Church at Philadelphia, the church that represents the raptured saints (see link), occupies the same position as the Western Lamp, being the 2nd from the last church and the 6th from the first church.

10) This coming Hanukkah will be the 2171st since the first Hanukkah in 165 BC. The number 2171 is the mirror image of 1712, or the 17th of the 12th month (December). The number 1712 bears double witness to the hidden prophecy in Psalm 106 which points to a possible rapture in 2006 (see link):

1712 = 177 + 679 + 177 + 679 => hidden prophecy in 2006 (Ps 106)

177 = Hebrew gematria of 'Amen Hallelujah' (Ps 106:48)
679 = Greek gematria of 'Amen Alleluia' (Rev 19:4)

11) Dec 17, 2006 is the 351st day of the year. The number 351 is the 26 triangular number; its reverse 153, the FISH number (John 21:11), is the 17th triangular number. The pair of YHVH numbers, 26 & 17 (standard & reduced), are the Hebrew & Gregorian day number of Kislev 26, 5767 and Dec 17, 2006 respectively.

12) Psalm 106, the hidden prophecy psalm that points to 2006, is deeply connected to the pair of YHVH numbers, 26 & 17 (standard & reduced); it is the 17th psalm of Book IV of Psalms; Book IV is noted for its peculiar affinity to the Tetragrammaton since the sacred holy Name YHVH, with gematria 26, appears in every of its 17 psalms -- a phenomenon not found in the other books of Psalms!

13) Dec 17 is Wright Brothers Day which commemorates the first successful flights in a heavier than air, mechanically propelled airplane, that were made by Orville and Wilbur Wright on December 17, 1903, near Kitty Hawk, North Carolina (see link). The 'Dec 17' of 2006 will be the (26 + 26 + 26 + 26)th 'Dec 17' since the first flight.

Will we fly on Dec 17, 2006?

I hope so!
