"Simchat Torah: A Last Day and The Second Going Home Day"

Long ago when the Temples were at Jerusalem, Shemini Atzeret was the LAST DAY of sacred convocation for the year. It was the LAST DAY of the Sukkot Season., the final Appointed Time for the year. Cycle complete. So the Going Home Day was a special goodbye day, a farewell day to Jerusalem for many, until the next visit at Passover. All the visitors could not leave the city at once, there were so many pilgrims and few routes out of the city. So some did leave on Shemini Atzeret but some remained, to linger in beloved Jerusalem one more precious day before departing, before Going Home. Will Shemini Atzeret or Simchat Torah be The Going Home Day of the Ages, for the Redeemed in Messiah in 2022? Each in Jewish history, with the 2 Temples, has been a Going Home Day and The Last Day.

In Hebrew, Simchat Torah means Rejoicing in the Torah. Since the Messiah personifies every word of Genesis through Deuteronomy, He Is The Living Torah! It is the annual Rejoicing in the Messiah Day! The honor, respect, and reverence given the many Torah scrolls in synagogues worldwide on this day of spiritual beauty is actually honoring and showcasing Him! The words of life in the Torah point to Him, are His. Being called home and GOING HOME , to the Messiah and Abba Father in The Blessed Hope is wonderful to contemplate, to imagine. According to the Torah Calendar, Shemini Atzeret will be sunset on 10-18 to sunset on 10-19-2022. Simchat Torah, The Second Going Home Day, will be sunset 10-19 to sunset 10-20-2022. Far back on the 24 hour grid, it will still be Shemini Atzeret. Imagine the joy, the rejoicing, when the Eternal Family will be Going Home, at last! Soon?

With Love and Shalom,

Jean
