THE IMMINENCY MYTH............

Definition of imminent : an event that can happen at any time without warning or prerequisite. 

Those who teach that the rapture is an IMMINENT EVENT  that can happen at any time are misguided in their false teaching which is contrary to the Scriptures according to :

Luke 21:28  ( Jesus speaking )

"WHEN these things BEGIN to come to pass , THEN look up and lift up your heads, for YOUR REDEMPTION draws nigh ."

The "REDEMPTION" of our earthly bodies in exchange for our Spiritual bodies, which can enter heaven, is what happens at the RESURRECTION & RAPTURE. 

SO, THERE YOU HAVE IT:

In this Scripture JESUS  is telling us that we are to "LOOK UP AND LIFT UP OUR HEADS" to SEE THE HEADS UP SIGN of our soon-to-come RESURRECTION & RAPTURE which is "WHEN THESE THINGS BEGIN."  

What are "THESE THINGS"  which must "BEGIN" BEFORE the resurrection & rapture can happen ?  

Jesus describes "THESE THINGS", which are our HEADS UP SIGNS  BEFORE THE RESURRECTION & RAPTURE can happen,  in detail in ( Luke 21:20-24 ).  

The resurrection & rapture event IS NOT AN IMMINENT EVENT according to THE WORD of Jesus, Himself.
