Hi Rene,You are right that there is only One Body and One Bride.Check out this scriptures. Jesus Christ used common sense here in choosing the right angels to introduce to John the Bride and the Prostitute:
Revelation 21:1-21 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Revelation 21:9-10
9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
Revelation 16:12-11612 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
Revelation 16:17,1917 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
Revelation 17:1
1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
A Thief in eschatological view is someone who comes at a time we do not know, but in secular view, a Thief is commonly known as someone who steal or snatch away something.Revelation 3:3Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, AND you will not know at what time I will come to you.
All the above scriptures are just taken from the Book of Revelation which are the revelation of Jesus Christ to John.
Something to think about and hopefully not to think of it as a parable or a methapor...
What better way to see the big picture is to know the end of the story. Boom!
God Bless,Eaglet
