Asteroids 2005 YU55 and 2010 XC15
I am not an expert in astronomy, but the Lord encouraged us to watch the signs of His Coming, including signs in the sky. Whatever happens in the next few days as we approach and go through 11.11.11 (and 11.11.11.11 if you include the hour of remembrance), the close encounter with asteroid 2005 YU55 on 9 November 2011 (Australian time) is important. Some details of 2005 YU55 from Wikipedia are presented below, together with details of Asteroid 2010 XC14 - the previous closest approach by an asteroid in December 1976.
2005 YU55, is a potentially hazardous asteroid[2] that is 400 meters in diameter.[3][4] It was discovered on 28 December 2005 by Robert S. McMillan. On November 8 2011 it passed 0.85 lunar distances (about 324,600 kilometers, or 201,700 miles)[6] from the Earth. This is the closest known approach by an asteroid with an absolute magnitude this bright since 2010 XC15 (H = 21.4) approached within 0.5 lunar distances in 1976.[5]
2010 XC15 is a near-Earth asteroid and potentially hazardous object.[2] It has an observation arc of 40 days.[2] It was discovered on 5 December 2010 by the Catalina Sky Survey at an apparent magnitude of 17.5. The asteroid has a diameter of about 200 meters,[3] and is noted for a close approach to the Earth around 26-27 December 1976 at a distance of about 0.002 AU (300,000 km; 190,000 mi).[4][5] It is one the largest objects known to have come inside the orbit of the moon. During the 1976 close approach the asteroid reached about apparent magnitude 11.[6] The asteroid will pass 0.009 AU (1,300,000 km; 840,000 mi) from the Earth on 28 December 2022,
There are two interesting aspects of these asteroids. First, Asteroid 2005 YU55 is a signal to the nations of the very soon Coming of the Lord, and a pointer for watchers to the strongly Messianic Isaiah 55 (presented below, from Amplified Bible). Secondly, seven year cycles for 2010 XC15 are noteworthy: closest approach to Earth on 26/27 December 1976, 28 years later was the Asian Tsunami on 26 December 2004 (this occurred at 11.59 am Australian time!). Seven years from the Asian tsunami (and 35 years on for Comet 2010 XC15’s close approach) will be in late December 2011. Many signs of the imminence of Jesus’Return - Maranatha!
Isaiah 55 - strongly messianic (cut back/edited slightly)
1WAIT and listen, everyone who is thirsty! Come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Yes, come, buy [priceless, spiritual] wine and milk without money and without price. 2Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your earnings for what does not satisfy? Hearken diligently to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness [the profuseness of spiritual joy].
3Incline your ear and come to Me; hear, and your soul will revive; and I will make an everlasting covenant or league with you, even the sure mercy (kindness, goodwill, and compassion) promised to David.
4Behold, I have appointed him (Him) [David, as a representative of the Messiah, or the Messiah Himself] to be a witness [one (One) who shall testify of salvation] to the nations, a prince (Prince) and commander (Commander) to the peoples.

13Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree; and it shall be to the Lord for a name of renown, for an everlasting sign [of jubilant exaltation] and memorial [to His praise], which shall not be cut off.
