Has this pope taken his name from Francis Xavier one of the founders of the Jesuits and the first Jesuit missionary instead of Francis of Assisi that the media is claiming. The media being the historical giants and demonstrating the intellectual prowess that they normally do immediately fixing on the well known Francis of AssisiIt seems that Francis Xavier (one of the founders of the Jesuits) vowed to convert the muslims and failing that to follow the orders of the Pope.
