Let’s first name the four
evils of Revelation 13 in order of power:
Ø The Dragon = Satan who gives power to
the Beast that was Wounded
o
The Beast/Antichrist = resurrected wounded
head(having 7 heads/10 horns) empowered by the Dragon=
the Commander of the Army of Satan
§ The Lieutenant of the
Antichrist = False Prophet = The
#2 Beast “like a Lamb”

The Willing Proletariats = The Lost = Those
accepting The Mark or The Name or The
Number of the Beast
Clearly, the (first Beast)
is empowered by Satan (the Dragon), both of which are
worshipped by the whole world (13:3-4) which are the
Willing Proletariats.
The Lieutenant of the
Antichrist, sometimes called the False Prophet, appears in
verse 11.
Whereas the Dragon GIVES
power to the Beast/Antichrist (13:4), the Lieutenant
EXECUTES ALL of the POWER of the Beast/Antichrist (13:12)
to whom the Lieutenant is subordinate (“before
him”).
The Lieutenant’s Jobs:
1. Perform Great Wonders
a. Rain fire from the sky
b. Deceive by ONLY the
miracles permitted to do by the Beast/Antichrist (“in the
sight of” - 13:14)
i. Command all earth dwellers
to make an image
ii. Power to give animation to
the image which the earth dwellers will make (13:14)
2. Enforce the genocide
(13:15) of the “Saints” with whom the Beast/Antichrist is
at war with (13:7) during the 42 month execution of
Satan’s power (13:5) by the Beast/Antichrist
a. Also prosecute genocide
upon those who would not worship the image of the
Beast/Antichrist
3. Institute Identification/Allegiance
System of the Beast/Antichrist
a. Marking all people in the
hand or forehead
b. Enforce economic tyranny
upon all. (13:16)
i. Prohibit the Free Market
upon those who do NOT have one of these three Equivalent
things inside their right hand or upon their forehead
1. The Mark (or Insignia) of the
Beast/Antichrist
2. The Name of the Beast (Antichrist)
3. The Number of his Name (Beast/Antichrist)
These Willing
Proletariats will have a choice of position
and type of Identification with the Beast/Antichrist
through the system enforced by his Lieutenant,
the second beast in command.
The focus of the entire
chapter is upon the power and enforcement of the
Beast/Antichrist and his Government.
How then, would it be
possible for the subordinate Lieutenant be the focus
of Revelation 13:18?
1. Would it be possible for
these three: the Mark of the Beast, the Name of the Beast
and the Number of the Beast to have EQUAL CREDENTIAL
STATUS in the Tribulation Order IF Scripture intended the
“number of his name” to be specifically in reference to
the name of the Lieutenant and not the Master?
2. Would the Beast/Antichrist
have the Willing Proletariats swear an allegiance by Mark
to his Lieutenant or himself?
3. Would the Lieutenant
enforce the Identification/Allegiance System in his own
name or the name of the Beast/Antichrist?
Revelation 13:14 says that
the Lieutenant could only BY THE AUTHORITY (“in the
sight”) of the Beast/Antichrist, have the
power to do these things:
Ø perform miracles (13:14);
Ø AND give animation to the
image of the Beast/Antichrist (13:15);
Ø AND implement the ID system
(13:16);
Ø AND execute compliance
(13:17).
Finally in verse 18 the
focus of the entire chapter, a remedy is given to IDENTIFY
the PROTAGONIST, the MAIN CHARACTER, the CHIEF ACTOR,
which is NOT the Lieutenant but rather the
BEAST/ANTICHRIST.
I will say it could be
possible that the Lieutenant will also be identified with
666. My speculations regarding Obama as the
Beast/Antichrist yielded an interesting fact that his
original Lieutenant, Rahm Emanuel
(a Hebrew also identified with earth/lamb as opposed to
the sea/serpent/Gentiles) has a Gematria value of
666 (a=6, b=12, c=18, etc.).
I would though, based on
these Biblical facts, hold to the notion the NUMBER of the
NAME that John the Revelator was referring to in 13:18 is
the PRIME CHARACTER: The Antichrist, whoever he may
be.
