"PUTTING THE CART BEFORE THE HORSE"

Hello Doves,

The following is sound doctrine. Please take it to heart:

Please allow these verses to penetrate your heart, and resonant within your spirit. Read them again, and then ponder and meditate upon them.  Ask, seek, and knock on Him, to teach you from within, via His Holy Spirit, these three verses, because the following will guage if you are fit to be accounted worthy to escape all these things coming upon the earth, or not:

1 Corinthians 13:

1Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not love, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

2And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing.

3And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not love, it profiteth me nothing.

These three verses are without question the most telling to/for the believer to know IF we are IN Christ or not. These verses tell us that even if we have all knowledge to understand everything (EVERYTHING!), including ALL of God's word (spiritually and prophetically), even have all faith, and the giving of our most prized earthly possession, our bodies, that without love, we are nothing.  WOW!!  How can one do these things and not have love?  Answer:  By thinking they are something when they are nothing (Gal. 6: 3). Presumption.  (I encourage you to read 2 Pet. 2: 10).

God's word says there are sins that lead to death, and sins that lead not to death.  All is sin, and there is sin that leads not to death (1 Jn. 5: 16-17). Most minds have been trained through wrong teaching (false doctrine) that all sin is one and the same, but this is not correct.  The reason His word says, "these (such) things", is to differentiate between the sins that lead to death, from sins that lead not to death.  To make both (sin) one and the same would bring "heavy burdens grievious to borne"  (Matt. 23: 4). This happened in the past, and is still occurring now.  When both types of sin are confused this makes it impossible for anyone to achieve God's standard, which then, through the teachings of the doctrines of men, develop a mindset in believers believing that it"s impossible to cease from sin that leads to death, therefore the hearers of this false doctrine intrinsically create a false gospel that says, "Christians aren't perfect, just forgiven"; believing they are something when they are nothing.   Jesus says, "Take heed how you hear" (Luke 8: 18).  For how we hear will ultimately dictate how we will perceive to believe the word of God, therefore our lifestlye (Matt. 13: 13-15; Matt. 15: 7-9).

Many have been taught tthat he sin that leads to death is the rejecting of the Holy Spirit (to reject the work of the cross of Jesus Christ so that they might be saved).  While this is correct, it's not conveyed in it's fullness.  The truth of the fullness of this statement is this:  anyone who believes that it is not possible to cease from doing the sins that lead to death, as it says in 1 Cor. 6: 9-10; Gal. 5: 19-21, etc.), reject the working power of the Holy Spirit, and consequently His cross.  These are they that deny His power; ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth (2 Tim. 3: 7). The true Christian who is IN Christ, and He IN them, believes to the point that it is possible to cease from "these things", thereby they do through His power.

If you are claiming to be IN Christ, and Christ to be IN you, yet are still doing "these things", then you need to reevaluate your position in Christ, because if you are still doing "these things," you do not have love, as mentioned in 1 Cor. 13, therefore you will not be included in the Rapture, or inherit His kindgom, except you repent.  You must get honest with yourself and God. Judge your ownself to examine if you are IN Him.  Call upon Him (Jer. 33: 3). When the reality of this truth comes to light, that He expects each of us to cease from doing the sins that lead to death, enters your heart and mind, a righteous fear of the Lord should overtake you, causing a humility and a dependance upon Him like you've never experienced before!  "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom" (Ps. 111: 10; Prov. 9: 10). This will instantly change your life and your perspective: from religion to relationship: "for without me you can do nothing" (John 15: 4-5).

"Whosoever abides in Him sins not; whoever sins has not seen Him, neither known Him" (1 Jn. 3: 6).

"...and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord" (Heb. 12: 14).

"For with God all things are possible" (Matt 19: 26; Mk. 9: 23; 10: 27; Lk. 1: 37).

In Christ,

His faithful watchman,

Greg
