Suddenly - Floods and Fires of Revival!!
Joel 2 (Amplified) And afterward I will pour out My Spirit upon ALL FLESH; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. 29 Even upon the menservants and upon the maidservants in those days will I pour out My Spirit.
30 And I will show signs and wonders in the heavens, and on the Earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke. 31 The Sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes.
In a Five Doves letter on 8 February 2015 I wrote about Suddenly - (Almost) No Time for Revival (copied below), reflecting my view that there is little time for revival since Israel is moving towards key timelines. This year of 2016 brings us even closer to these key dates: 49 years since the liberation of Jerusalem (7 June 2016 – Sunday 5 June on Jewish calendar) and just over two years to the 70th celebration of Israel as a reborn nation (on 14/15 May 2018).
My thoughts on revival in the Church and my pre-tribulation views (that the final seven years are primarily for Israel) are outlined below. I also draw attention to the significance of Australian timelines, especially 7 February - going back as far as 1788!! More recently, two catastrophic fires have book-ended a period of exactly 42 years: Tasmania (Tuesday 7 February) and Victoria (Saturday 7 February 2009. What is now important is that we are approaching 49 years since the Tasmanian fires and 7 years since the Victorian fires - that is, closing in on a Jubilee (50th ) year!! So are there natural signs indicating a spiritual revival - Yes!!

There will be signs in the Sun and Moon and stars; and upon the Earth distress of nations in bewilderment and perplexity at the roaring (the echo) of the tossing of the sea.
We are well aware of the signs of (rapid) acceleration of the end times: economic, social, wars, earthquakes and the rise of the Antichrist and the False prophet. If there is one sign not yet evident, it is the Coming of Elijah prophesied in Malachi 4:5 as before the Day of the Lord. Five Doves covers all these signs so well. So I would like to focus on the weather - and my term the Weather is All Over the Place!! The roaring of the tossing of the Sea!!
Just as the news media were covering the severe storm Jonas in North East US, the focus shifted to unusually cold conditions and/or snow in Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea and China!! In Australia we have had a combination of floods and bushfires in the past month or so, signs that we are approaching a pivotal year in 2016 - the 7 February 2016 date may be a threshold for even greater natural, economic and spiritual signs and breakthroughs!
There have been bushfires in Western Australia, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania in recent months - sometimes coinciding with heavy rains or storms in other parts or other times! For example, we had a major storm with hail that remained overnight on Monday night. We were out but most people mentioned something very interesting - before the rain and hail there was an eerie noise!! How true of the many noises/signs in the world today, and we are wise in watching the signs.
The City of Geelong had a once in 100 years storm a couple of days ago, with quite a lot of localised flooding. In Tasmania, a couple of weeks ago around 70 fires were lit during a dry thunderstorm (see Jeremiah 21:14 below) and most are in remote areas and still not under control. The news today was a combination of reports on flooding in North East Tasmania and bushfires in North West. Across Australia there are many thunderstorm warnings.
So many (weather) signs that Jesus is coming soon!! And floods and fires of REVIVAL!! As a final Australia’s cricketer of the year, announced a few days ago, is David Warner!! So we should continue to warn that He is Coming Very Soon
Jeremiah 21:14 And I will punish you according to the fruit of your doings, says the Lord. I will kindle a fire in your forest, and it will devour all that is round about you.

Suddenly - (Almost) No Time for Revival!!
In a Five Doves letter dated 27 February 2012, I drew attention to two visions of revival that were 48 years apart: Two Visions - Liquid Light Raining (Hicks, 1961) and Rain of Fire (Susan Omara, 2009). They are remarkable visions of revival and may be at the threshold of being fulfilled, even though only limited evidence may be evident at present. Why do I say Almost No Time for Revival? The reason is that I believe in a pre-tribulation Rapture and a subsequent seven year period, primarily (albeit not only) for the perfecting of His Eternal Purposes for Israel (the time/week of Jacob’s trouble) The 50th year from the liberation of Jerusalem is just two years away (7 June 2017), and the 70th year from Israel’s miraculous birth as a nation is just over three years away (15 May 2018). The Jewish calendar does affect the timing (date of remembrance) of these events.
I am writing this letter on Saturday night, 7 February 2015. This date has been (exactly) book-ended by two major fire events in Australia; Tasmania on 7 February 1967 and Victoria on 7 February 2009. Both were very sad events that involved considerable loss of life, and extensive property losses. I was living in Hobart when the Tasmanian fires occurred on Black Tuesday. The Victorian fires are remembered as the Black Saturday fires. There is exactly 42 years between the two fire events. A year has passed since my last update on Australian timelines. If this timeframe is guide to the possible outbreak of revival, including in Australia, then we are at the very door! Just clicking into the 49th year, and just one year from the Jubilee or 50th year. While as we know, we are to expect the Rapture of the Bride/Overcoming Church at any time, the work of the Holy Spirit - the Spirit of Holiness and the Spirit of Truth - released in this revival may prepare the Bride for Christ!!
Ephesians 5:26,27: So that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the Word, 27 That He might present the church to Himself in glorious splendour, without spot or wrinkle or any such things. .
Personal confirmation: six years ago tomorrow (Sunday 8 February 2009), I spoke on the Rain of Fire prophecy and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. I was aware of the Susan Omara prophecy and several days before I had already planned the broad theme of my preaching and the title Rain of Fire! The Victorian fires moved through very rapidly on the Saturday, and by Sunday some of the newspaper headlines reflected this title - Rain of Fire. We didn’t learn the full extent of the fires until later on Sunday and the following days. Many lost their lives because they were not prepared.
The years have rolled by, six years in fact! The signs of the nearness of the Lord’s Return are quite astronomical!! As has been pointed out in Five Doves letters, the coming 20 March 2015 Total Solar eclipse followed by the Total Lunar eclipse on 4 April 2015 (one of the four blood red moons in the Tetrad) are a trumpet call to get ready - to be prepared!! As I was musing on this letter, I remembered Israel as they marched around Jericho. Once on the first six days, then seven times on the seventh day!! Perhaps this signals the type of year that lies ahead - a time of sharp acceleration of God’s eternal purposes for the Church, Israel and the World!!
Joshua 6: See! I have given Jericho into your hand, 3 You shall march around the city, all you men of war; you shall go all around the city once. This you shall do six days. 4 And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. But the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with a great shout; then the wall of the city will fall down flat.
