The 10th of Nisan
On the 10th day of Nisan, Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey and the people shouted, "Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord!" as they waved palm branches and welcomed their Messiah. The only 2 dates on the Jewish calendar that are associated with the people saying, "Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord!" are the 7th day of Tabernacles and the 10th of Nisan, when the people proclaimed this at Jesus' triumphal entry.
This year, Nisan 10 will begin in Israel as the sun sets on March 20, 2013. Mr. Obama is planning to fly into Israel on March 20, 2013. This is taking place EXACTLY 1260 days after he was chosen as the Nobel Peace Prize winner on the 7th day of Tabernacles on October 9, 2009. He is coming as the "peacemaker".
On March 20, 2013, at 1:02 pm Jerusalem time, the Spring Equinox will take place. On the equinox, night and day are nearly exactly the same length – 12 hours – all over the world. This is the reason it's called an "equinox", derived from Latin, meaning "equal night". Jesus answered, "Are there not twelve hours of daylight? A man who walks by day will not stumble, for he sees by this world's light." Could this have been another clue that Jesus was giving, pointing to the 10th of Nisan falling on the Spring Equinox, when there are 12 hours of daylight all over the world?
How often do we have a candidate for the Antichrist ride into Jerusalem on the 10th day of Nisan, exactly 1260 days after he was chosen as the Nobel Peace Prize winner on the 7th day of Tabernacles (the only 2 days of the year that the people cried out, "Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord!")? They rejected Jesus as their Prince of Peace, but readily accept the Antichrist as their "peace maker".
I believe that whatever happens on this date (Nisan 10) will be the "set up" for the abomination to take place 10 days later. Jesus warned that when those living in Judea see this event, they should immediately flee to the mountains. I believe there will be 10 days between the "set up" of the abomination and the abomination taking place on March 31 or April 1, 2013. Revelation 2:10 "Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life." Could this be another clue for us of the 10-day wait between the 10th of Nisan and the start of the 21st day of Nisan, the 7th day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread? Peter was released from prison by an angel on the 7th day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread in the middle of the night. Is the Scripture pointing to this time as the abomination and Firstfruits Rapture?
Peter was let out of prison on the 7th day of Unleavened Bread. How did he get out of prison? An angel led him out in the middle of the night. Are we not "in prison" on earth, waiting for our release from this "prison"? Peter was to be killed the very next day, but the Lord delivered him and killed King Herod at the appointed time while giving a speech and not giving glory to God, but accepting praise from men who declared him to be a god. How did Lot escape Sodom and Gomorrah? Angels led him out in the middle of the night (and the Bible mentions that he prepares a FEAST and makes UNLEAVENED BREAD the night that they are led out of the city, both clearly referencing the future Feast of Unleavened Bread). How did Moses cross the Red Sea on the 7th day of Unleavened Bread? In the middle of the night, the Lord went before them and lit the way. The only illustration on the 7th day of Unleavened Bread that does not take place during the night is the fall of Jericho. Perhaps this shows that it will already be daytime in Asia (where idols are still worshipped by a large portion of the population, just as they worshipped idols in Jericho). But it clearly shows the 7 days of Unleavened Bread and then on the 7th time around (7th day), the trumpets are blown, the people ascend, and Jericho is destroyed. This is reenacted on the 7th day of Tabernacles, but took place on the 7th day of Unleavened Bread. The 7th day of Tabernacles reminds us that we will leave our tents on this day and go to our permanent homes. These 2 days (7th day of Unleavened Bread and Tabernacles) are like mirror images. If you hold up a mirror to them, they look identical. Therefore, what applies to one, applies to the other.
