All Doves:
In order that the reader understand that I am not a pastor that preaches "cheap grace" or "easy believism", I just want it to be known that I am not out of touch with the Word of God, or the state of the world today. In fact, to the contrary, I have been for better than twenty-five years a pastor of the "Whole Counsel of God". I consider myself a member of a small segment of clergy that identify as coming from a "holiness" and "sanctification" background. I believe in the total inspiration, inerrancy, infallibility, and irrevocability of the Word of God.
With all the negative, fear-mongering, on the Internet sites, it seems there is a growing voice that echos the judgment coming upon the world, and that Tribulation is our lot. We get a daily diet of hell, fire, and brimstone from John Little of 'The Omega Shock Letter', and the folks at the "Pre-Wrath-Rapture-Babble" site, and dozens of web sites that are calling for repentance or face judgment. These new trumpeters thrive on the bizarre and sensational headlines to attract a following. Their motivations remain suspect, however. Unfortunately, those that have become self-anointed prophets, are a dangerous element in and to the Body of Christ. They have little understanding or no education on the Bible to qualify them as exegetes or expositors of Holy Writ. They have no understanding of Biblical hermeneutics, and thus confusing the message of the Old and New Testament, having latched upon others aberrant beliefs of some particular distortion of the Bible.
I am not a naive or a negative person, and I could deliver a negative message, that few could handle, if I chose to do that. I monitor a dozen news sites that cover the news around the world. I read or scan between 1,200 and 1,500 news stories in any given day. The alternative news media has provided us a fairly honest reporting of the world for quite a few years at this point. None of it has been particularly redeeming or worthwhile, other than to confirm what I have been stating for fifty years.
The USA has been under judgment since June 25, 1962. You may not recognize the significance of that date, or how it changed our nation. The fact is since that date, our country has been slipping into oblivion, ever so gradual, but it actually signed its own death certificate on the date of June 25, 1962. There are over 85 indices that are tracked which confirm what I have been saying since that pinnacle day. The institutional church in America today has long lost its voice of moral authority, and I am saying that in a broad general sense. For the most part, over the past fifty years the church has been silent, and taken over by the health, wealth, and prosperity gospel. The dumbing-down process has been in effect for the better part of a generation, going back to the 1940's. The IRS 501(3)c regulations brought on by President Lyndon B. Johnson has made the church into a social club and muted its voice of moral indignation.
In my analysis of the news, history, geo-politics, disease, pestilence, signs in nature, ideological and religious conflicts, world events, I operate out of a Biblical worldview and from my seat, everything we are currently witness to simply serves to validate the belief that we are at the culmination of [His]story. Tribulation is here, but it is not "THE" Tribulation. Brothers and sisters in Christ, despite what you read and hear, do not despair. True, judgment is coming, but those of you who are "in Christ" will be delivered before the 21 judgments of Revelation are unleashed sevenfold upon a God-hating world. As I have stated many times before, God is in the "deliverance" business. In Biblical Judaism, the thirty days leading up to Rosh HaShanah are a solemn time of personal reflection, preparation, and repentance. For anyone desiring to hear the Lord's cry, "Come up hither" the time of seeking His comforting presence is NOW. During the month preceding Rosh HaShanah, my Scripture readings and devotions are centered in the Psalms. We are down to that period.

Jesus appeared walking on the water. Notice they were instantly taken to the other side.
John 6:19 - "Then, when they had rowed about three or four miles, they "saw Jesus walking on the sea an drawing near to the boat; and they were frightened."
John 6:21 - "So they were willing to receive Him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going."
John 6:40 - "For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day." In Greek the same word is translated both as "believe" and "faith". Faith is the operative word for those believing in a Pre-Tribulation Rapture.

Jesus Christ gave His invitation to receive His Life.
John 6:44 - "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day."
(31.)
Jesus will "come down" from heaven to save those that have truly accepted Jesus.
John 6:49 - "Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died."
John 6:50 - "This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die."
John 6:51 - "I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread also which I will give for the life of the world is My flesh."
(32.)
Jesus went up to heaven to prepare a place for us - a safe place!
John 14:3 - "If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also."
John 21:19 - "Now this He said, signifying by what kind of death he would glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He "said to him, "Follow Me!"
Acts 1:9 - "And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight."
Acts 1:10 - "And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them."
Acts 1:11 - "They also said, "Men of Galilee, who do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven."
May the LORD bless you and keep you. May the LORD make His Face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you. May the LORD lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
