Pondering the 6 seals as to when things will happen, and I came across this link with an interesting angle on the first 4 seals as having been opened back in the 1st Century and ongoing wars/famine etc for the last 2000 years.

So I dug back into Revelation to see if this made sense.
Have the first 4 seals already been opened? As part of Jesus claiming his Kingship over the universe, but letting these 4 horsemen run for 2000 years before
the 6th Seal earthquake?
Is there any precedent or logic for a gap???
The 5th seal does strongly suggest that there is indeed a gap. Wait.. for the number..
Another example of a gap was Jesus reading the Isaiah Scroll to announce his ministry, but there is a big gap to the second part of that Isaiah Scroll section.
Maybe opening 4 seals signifies that jesus now rules and he will decide when to complete things.
Maybe the next thing to happen is the 6th seal.
And Maybe this happens in October on "the great feast" which is the final feast.
Compare these 2 verses
John 7: 37 On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud
voice, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.
Rev 6:17For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?"
So maybe "on this great day", both the wrath begins, and also the multitude is in heaven as per Rev 7:9 (and another mirror in 14:5 where it seems
to me that the Rev 7 and Rev 14 are 2 views of the same scenes. Rapture / 144,000 / Start of the 7 Trumpets or Bowls (which may be the same thing from
a different perspective)
Both have a "rapture" scene - "multitude in heaven", and "earth harvested"
And so if the 6th seal is next, then it is a big earthquake. Maybe the big earthquake is caused by the rapture being Gods amazing power in action!

19In my zeal and fiery wrath I declare that at that time there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel.
23And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations.
